THE FILM

The balloonist is a tragicomedy in which the life of Gaby, a heritage chicken keeper, is turned upside down when an arrogant air balloon pilot crashes on her chicken coop. The crash reveals the roots of a family conflict and forces Gaby to confront the air balloon pilot as well as her past.

THE IDEA

This amazing story written by Benny Lindelauf asked for a very special look. Together with production designer Genaro Rosato and director Tim Oliehoek we created something unique. Shot in the summer of '23 the project is scheduled for release in Q3 of 2025 on Disney+.
