THE PROJECT

Rust en Vreugd is a brand new series aimed at the bigger crowds at the main public broadcasters channel: NPO1. Being a dramady the lead actress Annet Malherbre finds herself in comical situations as well as facing the difficulties in life.

THE IDEA

Togheter with long-time production designer Ben Zuydwijk and director Tim Oliehoek we created a world shaped around main character Emma. We shot for 36 days in de summer of '24 and the series will be aired in Q4 of '25.
